Fernanda Carvalho graduated from FAAP-Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (São Paulo, Brazil) with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication. She is currently studying Photography at ICP – Institute of Contemporary Photography (New York, USA). Her works have been exhibited at the 4th Berlin Foto Biennale (Berlin, Germany), X Florence Biennale (Florence, Italy), 20º Salão de Artes Plásticas (Praia Grande, Brazil), Virgílio Gallery (São Paulo, Brazil), Cartel011 Gallery (São Paulo, Brazil), Bethanien Cultural Centre (Berlin, Germany), A/NT Gallery (Seattle, USA), Glassbox (Paris, France). She has done a variety of art residencies including NARS Foundation (New York, USA), Berlim_Im_Fokus (Berlin, Germany), Camac Centre D’Art (Marnay-sur-Seine, France) and has engaged in other art-related activities such as the Transnational Dialogues research project (Brazil, Europe, China) and the Contemporary Art Project, Miami Art Basel (Miami, EUA).
