DEMIAN JACOB

Demian Jacob has a degree in Geography and Environment from PUC - Rio and holds a  master’s degree in Photography Memory and Communications from UCAM. He enrolled in several art and photography courses during his school years and worked as an assistant photographer for fashion and fine art photographers. In 2015, he graduated from a Large Format Film Photography course at the International Center of Photography - ICP in New York. His work has emphasis on the perception of new landscapes and men's relationship with the geographic space, seeking poetry within the element that transforms the space and seeing it with a dynamic movement. Developing his own negatives and working with analogue photography, Polaroid and Super 8, he also creates zines that document each perceived landscape and are titled “monographs.”
